Meghan Markle, Prince Harry release statement as Kate Middleton celebrates 43rd birthday

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released their big statement on the day Kate Middleton celebrated her 43rd birthday.

Archie and Lilibet doting parents encouraged fans to support those who lost their homes in the devastating Southern California wildfires.

The California-based royal couple shared the statement and links to helpful resources and foundations on their website Thursday.

Meghan and Harry said, “In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life.

“A state of emergency has been issued.”

They further said, “If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do. And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbors to see if they need help evacuating.”

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton celebrated her 43rd birthday on Thursday, January 9.

King Charles and Prince William also sent sweet birthday wishes to the Princess of Wales.
