‘Mental health advocate’ Prince Harry faces crisis over company culture

Prince Harry has landed in another controversy due to his association a mental health and coaching app which has been accused of being a “psychologically unsafe place to work.”

The Duke of Sussex’s role as “Chief Impact Officer” at BetterUp has come under scrutiny after several current and former employees took to Glassdoor to share their experiences.

Some employees described the platform as a "toxic train wreck" led by an "elitist club of managers" with "no moral compass."

Speaking with In Touch Weekly, insider claimed that Harry, who has spread awareness about mental health well-being in the past, has likely been made aware of the allegations.

“What we’re doing is about equipping people to thrive,” Harry, who reportedly earns $1.2 million a year for the role, said.

He added, “Whether you’re performing at the highest level, or want to get to the next level, or just want to get started, it’s all about having the specialized resources, preparation and human connection to back you up — whatever the challenge.”

The insider claimed that Harry’s “friends, the higher-up execs at BetterUp, have probably filled him in on their side in all this.”

“This could be a nightmare for Harry,” shared the insider, referring to his past advocacy of mental health issues.
