Milo Ventimiglia gave upsetting news about his pregnant wife, who had to watch their home in Malibu, burning down to the ground during Los Angeles fire.

The This Is Us actor, in this regard, spoke to CBS News and revealed how the couple witnessed the heart-wrenching moment in a horrifying security camera footage.

Fortunately, the actor and Jarah Mariano, his pregnant wife, and as well as their dog safely evacuated on Tuesday, January 7, before it happened.

While talking about the arrival of their first child together, Ventimiglia got visibly emotional, recalling that “everything [that] was set up”.

He also talked about how difficult it was for them to process seeing their home burn down with their own eyes.

“I think there's a shock moment where you go, this is real and this is happening,” the Gilmore Girls alum said, adding, “Then, at some point, you just turn it off. What good is it to continue watching?”

The 47-year-old actor, in the end, admitted of eventually accepting the loss.
