Comedy legends Martin Short and Steve Martin have taken a major step amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

Both stars, Martin and Steve, have postponed their Saturday, January 11, show, which has to be held at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood as Los Angeles wildfires devastate homes and properties.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the Only Murders in the Building star posted a picture showing the Palisades fire near the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The flames from the hills can be seen lighting up the ocean below.

He also scribbled a caption to inform his followers regarding the show’s cancellation that read, “Unfortunately, due to the fires in California, Marty and I must cancel our upcoming shows in Florida this Friday, 1/10 and Saturday 1/11. Everyone is alive, but there is devastation.”

Moreover, Hard Rock Live said the show is postponed, adding, “New dates are to be announced. Tickets for the originally scheduled show will be valid for the rescheduled date.”

It is pertinent to mention that other than Saturday’s show, Martin-Short Tours called off its Friday, January 10, 2025 show as well.
