New Jeans, a female K-pop group, are facing uncertainty about their future as their content faces major scheduling changes.
Their former company, ADOR, took to the group’s X account to reveal that their upcoming content has been cancelled due to “internal and external circumstances.”
The tweet read, “The Light Jeans content, which was scheduled to be uploaded on Friday, January 10th, at 7:00 PM (KST), has been canceled…”
Referring to the group’s behind the scenes footage, this is the first incident of their content being cancelled ever since the members decided to part ways with the agency.
ADOR responded to their decision with a lawsuit to determine whether their separation is legal, and confirmed that they would continue with all of the pre-filmed, scheduled content.
The New Jeans members also agreed to carry out their activities without interjection, so as to respect any contracts made during their time with their former company.
The group made an independent appearance recently on a radio show without the knowledge of ADOR, which caused a stir amongst their fans.
Fans of New Jeans have taken to social media to express their concerns over the recent cancellation and what it could mean for the group's future.
