Demi Lovato is 'the real deal' for Nita Strauss

Demi Lovato recently received praise by famous guitarist, Nita Strauss.

In an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, the 38-year-old singer, who has worked with Demi once in her 2022's Holy Fvck tour, described the 32-year-old singer as “the real deal”.

Nita, who joined the Let It Go hitmaker's backing band as a touring guitarist, went on to say, "Demi made a really cool rock album, so they hired a rock band to do a rock show."

Nita, who left Alice Cooper's touring band in July 2022, added, "Demi's a metalhead at heart. I'd walk past her dressing room and she'd be listening to Megadeath.”

According to the guitarist, the Heart Attack crooner, who uses both they/them and she/her, turned her onto this great deathcore band called Bodysnatcher.

“She's (Demi) the real deal,” Nita said.

While explaining the Demi’s fans embracing her rock and metal idea, the guitarist said, "Her (Demi) fans are so dedicated, they'll follow her whatever she does.”

"The thing about the rock and metal world," she said, adding, "Which I love and is my home - is that it's a bunch of whiny, complainy babies."

"Metallica are the biggest band in the world and people still s*** on their new stuff," said Nita Strauss.
