Stray Kids' Bangchan faces sudden schedule cancellation

Bang Chan, from the K-pop group Stray Kids, has pulled out of their scheduled events, according to his agency.

JYP Entertainment took to social media to announce that the singer had attained “sudden symptoms of a flu”.

They continued, “As recommended by medical professionals, Bang Chan is currently taking adequate rest. The decision to exclude Bang Chan was made for the safety of both the artist and fans. We would like to apologize to STAY who have been looking forward to his schedule and ask for your kind understanding.”

Concerning the scheduled video calls and fan sign events, “The winners for SOUNDWAVE Korea video call & fan sign event and StarRiver China video call event will be individually notified through the application channel with further details.”

Fans of the singer took to social media to wish him well, with one user writing on X, “Oh nooo Take good rest Channie. I hope you get well soon, lots of love.”

Another user added, "Thank you JYPE for putting your artist’s needs above all else. Sending lots of love and warm wishes Chan. The best way to fight the flu is rest.”

The other members of Stray Kids will proceed with their activities as scheduled.
