Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s current rebranding has just given way to comments about what they may become.
Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker made these comments in her interview with GB News.
He started the topic by nothing the couple’s difficulties in recent weeks and said, “It is difficult for Meghan and Harry trying to find their place in the world.”
“Are they media entertainment personalities or are they going to be humanitarian workers?”
“I think at the moment, they are straddling those two different worlds and they are trying to find their place within it,” Mr Walker admitted before signing off.
For those unversed, the couple haven’t even been able to escape criticism during their wildfire relief efforts as people like Family Ties actress Justine Bateman bashed the Duchess for being a ‘disaster tourist’ alongside her husband.
On X (formerly Twitter) she said, “Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive 'photo op' they achieved. They are 'touring the damage'? Are they politicians now?”
“No film producer was offering her any major roles and no serious Hollywood director spoke about featuring Meghan in his movie or TV series. Just as she feared, her acting career was stymied. Her income after 2017 would plummet.”
“The film roles she managed to snag between seasons were a creative sinkhole, indicative of the crapshoot that awaited her after Suits.”
“She played an LA party girl in the unreviewed low-budget rom-com Random Encounters; a lovelorn journalist in the Hallmark TV movie When Sparks Fly, which earned 12 per cent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes; and the girlfriend of a reluctant criminal in Anti-Social, a crime drama in which the car heists were deemed to have ‘all the energy of a dead battery’.”
