Meghan Markle's rise renders Kate Middleton's admirers helpless

Meghan Markle returned to Instagram on January 1, 2025, sending thousands of her fans into a frenzy.

The Duchess of Sussex has amassed 1.5 million followers less than two weeks before she debuted her account on the platform.

The wife of Prince Harry used her new account to share a trailer of her upcoming show on Netflix, sparking a debate about her future plans.

The British tabloid media has published a large number of articles on Meghan Markle's activities since her return to social media and her latest appearance which she made at shelter homes of LA wildfire victims.

The former US actress was accompanied by her husband Prince Harry who along with his wife has distributed food and clothes among the victims  of the devastating fire.

A section of the media has been giving the impression that Prince William, Kate Middleton and their loyalists in the UK couldn't care less about what Harry and Meghan had been doing in California.

Although the official Instagram account of Prince William and Kate Middleton is not following Meghan, a popular page "What Kate Wore" is among 1.5 million followers of the Duchess of Sussex.

It's not known whether Kate knows that any such page exist but given thousands of followers it has, it seems that her admirers are eager to know about every move her rival "princess" makes on social media.  

Meghan's supporters are convinced that even Kate's loyalists couldn't resist the urge to see the rise of Meghan Markle on social media.

Keeping in view the rivalry between their fans, it won't be  long before Meghan's supporters start claiming that their "princess" is being stalked by the future queen of the UK. 

During his speech in New York last month, he also mentioned social media trolls but refrained from saying that he suspects somebody from his family could be behind some of the large social media pages. 

After stepping down from his royal duties, Prince Harry claimed that information about him and his wife was leaked to the media by the royal family, clearly implying that the Windsors have their own connections in the media.
