Tatum O'Neal has revealed heartbreaking news about the destruction of her late father Ryan O'Neal's Malibu home in the recent L.A. fires.

On Sunday, Jan. 12, the 61-year-old Nickelodeon actress shared on Threads that Los Angeles wildfires have destroyed her late dad’s home.

Sharing the news, Tatum scribbled, "It’s the saddest ever so sad I could cry. My father’s house is gone Malibu gone."

“Gone gone gone gone. It’s so scary. I am so freaking sad,” she wrote, sharing her reaction to a clip from a news report.

Snaps of the area show the Paper Moon star’s former beachfront property rubble that has turned into rubble.

Notably, this catastrophe hit just two years after Ryan’s death, as he passed away on December 8, 2023, from “congestive heart failure” at 82.

Previously, it was reported that he was buried next to his long-time partner, Farrah Fawcett, at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary in Los Angeles.

The couple, who started dating in 1979, was involved in an intermittent relationship until Farrah departed from life at the age of 62 in 2009.
