Ben Affleck grows emotional amid LA fires

Ben Affleck, a veteran actor, had to evacuate his home due to the wildfires raging across the Pacific Palisades.

He was spotted growing emotional as he embraced his 19-year-old daughter, Violet outside of his property. The actor gripped a can of soda and closed his eyes as he held on to her tightly.

The father of three was dressed casually in a pair of sweatpants and a gray hooded jacket.

Violet covered her mouth and nose with a mask to protect from the smoke while donning a dark hoodie with blue jeans.

Affleck made the return to his home back on Wednesday, which had fortunately survived the fires.

“Ben’s home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being,” explained a source to Page Six.

They added, “He has seen a lot of devastation, and it’s beyond tragic. Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help.”

The Gone Girl star has reportedly been keeping in touch with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez since the fires began.

Even though Ben Affleck’s house has avoided being caught, many celebrities have witnessed their homes be burned to the ground.
