Kody Brown reacts to ex-wife Christine's wedding in an unexpected way

Kody Brown, the star of Sister Wives, was taken by surprise when he learnt about his ex-wife Christine's wedding at his sister's house.

In the latest episode of Sister Wives, which aired on January 12, it was revealed that upon seeing the wedding announcement at his sister’s residence, Kody found out regarding his ex-wife Christine's marriage with David Woolley.

Sitting beside his legal and only remaining wife, Robyn Brown, the 55-year-old laughingly quipped, "I knew that David and Christine were going to get married because I saw a wedding announcement at my sister's house.”

"I'm really fine. I'm resolved with it. This wedding happening is really none of my business at this point. Christine doesn't need my permission or anything like that. I'm happy for them and I wish for them all the happiness that life can give them,” he noted.

The father of eighteen mentioned, "Christine left with a purpose; she wanted to find her soulmate. It is weird because you know she's my ex-wife but it's like that's none of my business anymore and it's more like kudos." 

Moreover, earlier in the episode, he reflected by saying, "I'm really excited for her. I've only met David once, and everything that I can gather is it's moved pretty fast. But sometimes you just know. I hope they're happy, and I hope someday the time comes when we're just comfortable being around each other.”

It is pertinent to mention that Kody Brown and Christine had been “spiritually married” for 25 years prior to their split in November 2021.

Notably, Christine later tied the knot with David in a "dream come true" wedding on Oct. 7, 2023, in Utah.
