'Strictly' star James Jordan honours late friend Andy with moving gesture

James Jordan has lost his close friend, Andy, over the weekend.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional paid a heartfelt tribute to Andy.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, James wrote, "On Saturday I lost a great friend. He was a legend in our dance, but more importantly a legend as a friend."

"I have many fond memories of my time spent with him and he touched the hearts of so many who knew him," he added.

James went on to say, "Last night a group of us got together on a call from all over the world - Hong Kong, Ireland and England to raise a glass and swap stories. He will be missed by many but never forgotten RIP Andy."

In the next snap, James posted a screenshot of his friends from around the world gathered virtually for celebratory drink in honour of Andy.

This comes after James spoke about his experience on Dancing On Ice show, where he appeared as a contestant in 2019. Speaking with Mirror, James shared, "I know that Dancing on Ice have got a new producer this year, who I've worked with before, and I know he's very good at what he does, so I would imagine he's got lots of things lined up to mix it up a bit."
