Jenna Bush Hager reveals why husband banned daughter Mila from 'Today' forever

Jenna Bush Hager revealed her husband had put a lifelong ban on daughter Mila from joining Today.

In a recent chat with E! News, the 43-year-old host revealed that since her cohost Hoda Kotb exited the show, her one family member would have loved to join the show.

"They're not jumping, but I may push them like I've done my whole life," Bush Hager told the outlet. "You know who really wants to do it? Mila Hager."

Jenna recalled the time when Mila said something inappropriate on the live show, after which her husband Henry Hager decided to put a ban on the preteen from reappearing on the NBC show.

"She said something very controversial," the host said. "So, therefore, my husband gave her a lifetime ban. We'll see if that's lifted, maybe for bringing your kids to work day. But she hasn't been always the most supportive, let's just say that."

Back in January 2022, the 11-year-old made an appearance at Today with Hoda & Jenna and dropped some "truth bombs" about Hager.

During the appearance, Kotb asked Mila if she knew what she liked most about her mom.

"You know when I love her the most, Mila? When she's laughing so hard she can't catch her breath," Kotb shared.

"Yeah, one time she was laughing in our living room and she peed her pants!" Mila said, telling her mom, "You changed your pajamas!"

"Thank you, Mila," Bush Hager noted with embarrassment. "Thank you so much."
