Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's reaction to 'disaster tourists' remarks revealed

An insider has disclosed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's reaction after they received backlash from Hollywood actress turned producer Justine Bateman.

Commenting on the royal couple’s visit to a meal distribution center set up for people affected by the wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles, Justine said: “Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive "photo op" they achieved.”

She continued, “They are ‘touring the damage’? Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists.

“Disaster Tourists. #PalisadesFire.”

Sharing the reaction of Meghan and Harry, a source told Page Six, “It’s offensive to Meghan and Harry that anybody would think this is merely a photo opportunity.”

The insider said Archie and Lilibet doting mom is “not just a tourist” and “her heart is completely broken for all the lives that have been lost and for those whose homes have been destroyed in these fires.”

The California-based royals “invested significant time and resources, they have donated money and essential items.”

The insiders went on saying, “They have also dedicated countless hours to volunteering, long before the media even caught wind of their involvement.”
