Travis Kelce has heaped praise for the comedian Adam Sandler after collaborating with him in Happy Gilmore 2.

In a latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the Kansas City Chief player  candidly talked about his experience of working in a Kyle Newacheck directed movie.

“That was a dream come true,” the football star began by saying.

“I thought SNL was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career. Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain.”

Travis Kelce stars in the Gilmore sequel alongside Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Margaret Qualley and Ben Stiller.

“They’re so professional and yet so fun to work with, I felt like I was working with like the [Kansas City Chiefs’ coach] Andy Reid of the acting world.”

Moreover, the 35-year-old football player lauded, “[Sandler] is every bit as cool off the screen as he is on the screen. That was a dream come true. That was awesome.”

Before concluding, Kelce shared that he is in “a few” scenes of the movie and “got a pretty hefty load,” for filming these scenes.

For those unversed, Happy Gilmore was released in 1996 and earned a gross of $41.2 million on a $12 million budget.

Happy Gilmore 2 is scheduled to be released in cinemas in 2025.
