Golden Globes nominee Margaret Qualley's father was starstruck by THIS actor

Margaret Qualley, an American actress, revealed the actor who her father, Paul, was star struck by at the Golden Globes.

She appeared on the podcast, Happy Sad Confused with Josh Horowitz, where she opened up about her experience at the event.

The Maid star was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in the movie, The Substance.

Revealing that Paul was most excited to meet Adam Sandler, she added, "I think he's kinda like this for everyone, but in my family, Adam Sandler is the best guy in the world. You want to be like him. You want to marry him. ... He's the best."

The actress’ father had been too shocked for words, according to her, "My dad met Sandler, and my dad goes, 'I can't even talk to you, man. I can't even talk to you.’ It was the cutest thing I've ever seen."

The host agreed readily, adding that Sandler is "one of those guys that is exactly who you want him to be.”

At the awards show, the older Qualley donned a shirt which was a call-back to his daughter’s first role.

Showing his love for her, he claimed he was "very proud" of her, "I always have been, ever since she was tiny."
