Is Carrie Underwood a Republican?

Donald Trump’s will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on January 20 at the US Capitol.

According to CNN, Country music star Carrie Underwood is slated to perform “America the Beautiful” at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration."

In a statement issued to the media organization, the music star said, “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.”

“I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

The presidential oath of office will be administered by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts with Justice Brett Kavanaugh expected to administer the oath of office to Vice President-elect JD Vance.

Carrie Underwood has not publicly declared herself as a member of any political party. However, she has performed at events associated with both Republican and Democratic politicians, like singing at the inaugurations of George W. Bush and Mike Huckabee (both Republicans) and for Barack Obama's (a Democrat) inauguration. Her public statements generally focus on Christian values, love for country, and community rather than partisan politics. Thus, while she might have personal sympathies, there isn't clear, public evidence to label her strictly as a Republican.
