A renowned actress, Christina Applegate, has spoken out against those who have called the Los Angeles wildfires "good.”

The 53-year-old FRIENDS star opened up while waiting to see if she and her 13-year-old daughter Sadie would need to leave their home again because of the ongoing fires in places like Pacific Palisades, Altadena, and Eaton.

On the Tuesday, January 14 episode of the MeSsy podcast, Applegate’s co-host and actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler said, “There’s not really words for it.”

The Bad Moms actress responded, “You know what I have words for? F------ people who are saying that it's, you know, good. It's Hollywood and those stupid Hollywood people. Like, you've gotta be kidding me.”

She went on to add that people living outside Los Angeles believe the city is only inhabited by the luminaries, highlighting, “We're a small portion of the city.”

“I mean, this is a city of people that are working their asses off at fast food chains or, you know, f***** builders and painters, and it's a myriad of groups of humans here, so to say good riddance is real sick, and I'm not liking that whatsoever,” Christina Applegate mentioned.

Notably, the Sopranos actress Sigler asked the Dead to Me star to "tune out" the comments, to which she replied, "I've tuned it out because they're ridiculous, but I'm calling them out right now."

It is significant to mention that the wildfires in Los Angeles, which started on January 7 and are still burning, have claimed the lives of 24 people and left at least 23 missing.
