Bradley Cooper opens up about his bond with daughter Lea

Bradley Cooper recently confessed that he struggled to love his daughter in the first eight months.

During an appearance on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, the 50-year-old actor revealed that he didn't understand why parents say they would die for their kids.

"The first eight months - I don't even know if I love the kid," said Bradley, who shares a six-year-old daughter with his ex-partner, Irina Shayk.

"It's dope. It's cool. I'm watching this thing morph," he continued. "Fascinated by it, love taking care of it. Would I die if someone came in with a gun? It's only a couple of months. I don't know."

The American Sniper actor added his feelings changed when his daughter turned eight months old.

"The first like 8 months, I don't even know if I really love the kid," shared Bradley "And then all of a sudden, it's like no question."
