Princess Anne left Prince Andrew upset and shocked after she did not invite him to key event at the Windsor Castle last week.
Andrew, the Duke of York, was snubbed from the event honouring his former school in the wake of his controversy surrounding his links to Chinese spy.
The dinner, hosted by his sister, Princess Anne, celebrated the prestigious Scottish institution where Andrew was a student alongside King Charles and Prince Edward.
A royal source confirmed to the Daily Mail that the “disgraced” Duke was not in attendance at the event.
A Gordonstoun spokesperson said of the event, "In her role as Warden for Gordonstoun, Her Royal Highness held an intimate evening dinner attended by a small number of guests.”
"I'm sure the duke would have loved to have attended the dinner if he had been invited," a pal of Andrew's told the publication.
This comes after it was revealed that Andrew had close ties with a Chinese businessman, known as H6.
Sharing his two cents on the matter, Dai Davies, who led Scotland Yard's Royal Protection unit, said it was shocking that Andrew was friends with someone who posed a security risk.
"If it was anyone else and they were representing the United Kingdom, there would be an inquiry," Davies told GB News.
"Questions need to be asked of the security services. What did they know? How do they and why do they allow this to happen?" Davies continued. "This is arguably the straw that may well break the camel's back.
