BAFTA 2025: Kate Middleton related to late English actor?

The British Academy of Films an TV Arts (BAFTA) disclosed all the contenders for its 2025 honors in London on Wednesday.

Royal fans have been eagerly awaiting to know whether Kate Middleton would show up at the awards on February 16. It's still not known whether the future queen attend the event.

As the BAFTA announced the nominations for 2025, hundreds of people visited the academy's website to see who made it to the list this year.

A look at the website's Our Heritage page makes royal fans stop and think whether one of the actors shown in the pictures was related to Kate Middleton. 

According to the caption accompanying the picture, Guy Middleton visited the British Film Academy Stills Exhibition in May 1948.

Guy Middleton was an English film character actor.

He was born in Hove, Sussex, and originally worked in the London Stock Exchange, before turning to acting in the 1930s. 

In his earlier films he often portrayed amiable idiots nad scoundrels, but many of his later roles were military officers in the British Army, RAF or Royal Navy. He died in 1973, following a heart attack, aged 65.

Kate Middleton and Guy Middleton do not share a direct familial relationship based on the information available. 

However, both share a common ancestry through their connection to the broader Middleton family tree, which has deep roots in Yorkshire, tracing back to the 18th century.
