Amanda Holden discusses 'most frustrating parent habits'

Amanda Holden just opened up about her family life.

During her show, Heart Breakfast, she gave viewers insights into what motherhood is like having two grown up daughters, discussing a recent argument she had with her youngest.

The Britain's Got Talent veteran judge, who is married to record producer Chris Hughes, shares two daughters with him namely, Alexa (Lexi) and Hollie.

As she pointed out one of the "most frustrating parent habits", Amanda recalled a recent interaction that she had with her 13-year-old daughter.

Comparing how she has a rather "super chilled" with her eldest child, Lexi, she mentioned that her relationship with Hollie is "up the other end of the scale."

"Lots of shouting. She slammed the door on me last night because I very gently asked her to leave her phone downstairs,” Amanda discussed.

Recalling the incident, she continued, “'Why are you punishing me? ' I was like, 'It's not punishment; I just want you to be able to get on with what you need to do upstairs without your phone.'"

"She went mental; she slammed the first door and then she went all the way up the stairs and slammed the second door. You know, like she really banged it for me to hear it," the English actress further detailed.

However, Amanda then mentioned how Hollie came around, apologizing for her reaction, "But then she comes down like a psycho (and) says, 'Mummy, I'm sorry; I love you.'"

Further joking, she mentioned that even though Hollie is getting "great reports" she herself would get a report from her daughter that "would not be good."
