Prince William has just moved forward with a move that is similar to what he did the day he found out about Kate Middleton’s cancer last year.
For those unversed, last year’s even which saw the Prince pull out at the last minute was a memorial service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
At the time the Prince is said to have pulled out due to a “personal matter” and this time around the prince has yet again pulled out of an event, mere hours before it was scheduled to start.
This event is in relation to Prince William’s role as Colonel-in-Chief, the Army Air Corps (AAC), and he was to visit some regiments at Wattisham, Suffolk.
The day was to include an observation into their regular training but a spokesperson for Kensington Palace announced the Duke’s inability to be present by noting, “With regret, this engagement has been postponed as a result of poor weather which would have significantly restricted the planned programme.”
“The Prince of Wales sends his sincere apologies to those who he had been due to meet and hopes to reschedule his visit at the earliest convenience.”
“On Wednesday, the Prince of Wales travelled to Birmingham to attend the inaugural Emergency and Critical Care Conference today, where he met with senior leaders and speakers at the College of Paramedics.”
