Priyanka Chopra shares heartbreak over LA fires

Priyanka Chopra, a resident of Los Angeles, has written a note expressing her sadness over the loss caused by raging fires in the state.

In the post on Instagram, the Quantico star said, "My heart is heavy for LA. While I’m deeply grateful for my family’s safety, so many of our friends, colleagues, and fellow Angelenos have lost so much. These fires have displaced countless families and devastated entire communities, leaving an overwhelming need for rebuilding and support."

Priyanka also urged his fans to donate to the relief efforts and called the first responders "true heroes." 

“Every contribution, no matter the size, truly helps. I’ll keep adding pages as I come across them," she continued.

“Over the past week, I’ve come across countless GoFundMe pages and organizations working tirelessly to provide relief. If you’re able, please consider donating to those who have lost everything or supporting organizations like @cafirefound, @baby2baby, @americanredcross and so many more making a difference on the ground,” Priyanka concluded.

According to reports, at least 24 people have died, and almost 200,000 residents have been forced to evacuate
