A renowned media personality and TV presenter, Wendy Williams, has fiercely denied claims regarding her ongoing battle with dementia.
The 60-year-old radio star was invited to The Breakfast Club to ask for freedom from her controversial guardianship, where she spoke to her former co-host, Charlamagne Tha God.
While conversing with the host, Williams, who was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in May 2023, said her current situation felt like “emotional abuse.”
Shedding light on her health condition, she quipped, “I am not cognitively impaired, but I feel like I am in prison. I am definitely isolated.”
The Dancing with the Stars alum added, “To talk to these people who live here, that is not my cup of tea. I keep the door closed. I watch TV. I listen to the radio. I watch the window. I sit here, and my life goes by.”
Williams went on to confess that she did not own pets any longer, revealing that they were now "gone, sharing they were taken, even though she "wanted them with her."
For the unversed, the Love Triangle star was described as “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated" last November in court documents that were filed by Sabrina Marissey.
Notably, this court filing came after she was diagnosed with early-onset dementia and has been under a legal guardianship since 2022.
