Kareena Kapoor breaks silence after Saif Ali Khan's attack

Kareena Kapoor Khan has broken her silence after Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in their home during a robbery.

On the late night of January 16, the Bollywood star was rushed to hospital after a burglar attacked him at his Bandra home.

Taking to Instagram later, Kareena, who tied the knot with Saif in 2012, has issued a heartfelt statement requesting privacy.

She stated, "It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage."

Kareena went on to say, "While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family."

"I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time. Kareena Kapoor Khan," The Buckingham Murders star concluded.

It is worth mentioning that as per reports, Saif's son Ibrahim Ali Khan and a house help took him to the hospital at approximately 3:30 AM. 

Saif Ali Khan is father of four children: Sara and Ibrahim, whom he shares with ex-wife Amrita Singh and  8-year-old Taimur and 4-year-old Jeh, whom he shares with Kareena.
