Steve-O flaunts major transformation given by Mark Wahlberg

Steve-O took to his Instagram on Thursday to showcase a bold new haircut, courtesy of actor Mark Wahlberg.

The 50-year-old Jackass alum shared a selfie with his 7.4 million followers, captioning the post as, "I got a rad haircut from @markwahlberg to match his character in Flight Risk (in theaters everywhere January 24)."

Moreover, the transformation, which left Steve-O with a shaved middle and hair on the sides, mimics Wahlberg’s look as Daryl Booth, a pilot and hitman in the upcoming thriller.

In this regard, the stuntman also used the post to promote his podcast, by writing, "We sat down to record today’s new episode of @wildride (link in bio). Talk about a @wildride!"

During the podcast, Wahlberg discussed his character's striking appearance, by sharing, "I had to test it a couple of times. When I went home, my wife was terrified. The kids didn’t want to see me."

Additionally, a video clip shared online captures Wahlberg personally shaving Steve-O’s head to match the look. Wahlberg praised the performer’s commitment, by saying, “Steve is fearless. He was all in when I suggested the haircut. I hope this starts a trend!”

According to People, the haircut ties into Wahlberg’s dedication to his role in Flight Risk as the actor said, "There was no bald cap. I shaved the middle and left the horseshoe around the sides. It was real, every day."

Furthermore, Steve-O’s Instagram post has garnered over 130,000 likes, with fans applauding the collaboration and the daring transformation.

It is worth mentioning that Flight Risk, set to release on January 24, promises a high-stakes journey as Wahlberg’s character, tasked with transporting a U.S. Marshal, faces unexpected dangers aboard the plane.
