SWABI: A blast near an Awami National Party (ANP) election rally in the Rafiqabad area left two people dead and five others injured here on Sunday.
According to police, the blast struck during ANP candidate Ameer Rehman's corner meetinig. Rehman was not injured in the blast.
The blast was triggered by a remote controlled device, police said. ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan condemned the attack and said the party would not be deterred by terrorist activity.
