‘Sister Wives' Meri Brown spills the tea on her dating life after divorce

Meri Brown, Kody Brown's first wife, is ready to leave her past behind and focus on finding love again.

In a preview of the January 19 episode of Sister Wives, the 54-year-old is seen declaring, “I want to date. I’m very ready. I’ve actually gone out on a few dates. I have dated a little bit.”

Meri, who first found dating difficult after her divorce, said, “I feel like dating is hard. It’s like job interview after job interview.”

Moving forward, she also talked to her best friend Jenn about what she wants in a man.

Shedding light on her requirements, the mother of one articulated, “I’m 53. I would like somebody at least 53. But I’m also okay with somebody up to, like, maybe 60 or 65. I don’t know. We’ll see.”

In the same episode, Kody also shared his thoughts on Meri’s dating journey, saying, “Well, Meri wants an alpha male, but she also wants to be in charge. I don’t know how that’s going to work for her.”

Responding to her ex-husband’s remarks, she made it clear that it was not about being a “control freak,” adding that she was looking for “somebody who is going to support me in all of my endeavours.”

It is pertinent to mention that Meri Brown and Kody Brown tied the knot in 1990 and after more than 2 decades of their marriage, the couple parted ways in 2014.
