Kat Dennings reminisced over the time with her TV dad Bob Saget three years after the late actor's death.

In a recent chat with People, the Shifting Gear star remembered the time spent with her former TV dad and shared how his kindness always remained with her over time.

Dennings and Saget played the role of father and daughter respectively on the 2001 sitcom Rising Dad as Matt and Sarah Stewart.

The drama ran for only one season, however, Saget played the role of a father figure in Dennings' life onscreen as well as offscreen.

"God bless him. I'm so sad that he's gone," she said, noting that her experience of working with the comedian had been "lovely."

"What I remember was he was very protective of me because I was a young actress and he had daughters. So he was very sweet to me and very protective and very kind," Dennings remembered. "I only remember very, very nice memories of him."

It is pertinent to mention that Saget passed away at the age of 65 due to blunt head trauma.
