Kate Middleton has reportedly left Prince William alone to spend time at her parents' home in West Berkshire as she continues to recover from cancer treatment.

According to a new report, Michael and Carole Middleton have been helping take care of the Princess of Wales and her kids, George, Charlotte and Louis.

Their home has given Kate a private place to deal with her diagnosis and treatment, away from the public eye and media scrutiny, as per New Idea Magazine.

“Carole was chief nurse as Kate went through chemotherapy, and Michael has been helping take care of the kids,” the source said.

They added, “It also meant Kate could recuperate away from the royal residences. They can be a fishbowl at the best of times, let alone when you’re going through something so intensely personal.”

“When you’re ill, the place you feel most comfortable is at home with your mum isn’t it?” the publication added, citing People Magazine.

The insider shared that Kate wanted to deal with her cancer diagnosis and treatment in the sanctuary of her family home, away from the hustle and bustle of the Royal life.

“Middleton Manor is extremely private, off a country lane and behind high walls. So Kate and the kids have been making the most of precious time alone there, with Carole and Michael on hand to wait on Kate during her treatment,” they shared.
