Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren returned to audiences through the trailer for 1923 season two, which is the prequel to the hit series, Yellowstone.

Released during the NFL AFC Division Championship game, viewers can see several affluent men as they plan to transform “Montana into a playground for the elite.”

Brandon Sklenar’s Spencer is set in a race against time to protect his family, meanwhile Julia Schlaepfer’s Alexandra is on a path to save their relationship.

At the start of the trailer, Spencer is called a “war hero and stone killer” by two men who then promise to “destroy everything they’ve fought for.”

The elites come together as the antagonists to put into action their plan to transform the area into a ski resort.

A tense showdown is confirmed as one man insists, “I’m trying to prevent a war here,” while Ford firmly responds, “It ain’t preventable.”

The family is seen struggling to care for themselves while Spencer faces increasing danger trying to return to Montana, “I pray Spencer can get here,” Cara states, “Time to build that army you promised me.”

1923’s second season is set to premiere on 23 February on Paramount+, which also features the previous season.
