Robbie Williams slams Taylor Swift for 'not knowing him'

Robbie Williams has shared insights into Taylor Swift’s reaction after fans erupted for him at her concert.

While chatting with SiriusXM Hits 1, the Feel singer candidly talked about his working experience with Taylor Swift.

"When I came up through the stage,” the 50-year-old singer began by saying. “And the audience erupted. You could just see this thing in her face go 'Uh? Eh?"

In 2018, During Swift’s Reputation tour Williams made a surprise appearance and performed on his best selling single Angels at Wembley Stadium.

Recalling fans' reaction, he continued, "And I'm like 'Yeah, yeah I'm the mayor of this here. I'm a big deal. I keep telling everybody I’m a big deal and she was like ‘Oh, he’s a big deal!’ And yeah, it was a lovely moment.”

"I think the interesting thing is that Taylor, I think, knew the concept of a Robbie Williams somewhere in the world but I don't think she knew anything about me.”

Before concluding, the Take That: Back For Good actor shared, “And I think maybe whoever she was dating at the time was English and went 'Hey maybe you should get Robbie Williams.' I think this is how it went."

For those unversed, Taylor Swift dated Joe Alwyn for six years from 2018 to 2023.
