Francisco San Martin is found dead at 39

Francisco San Martin, an actor best known for his roles on Days Of Our Lives and Jane The Virgin, has passed away at the age of 39.

Found in his home on Thursday, the authorities believe that the cause of death is suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

He portrayed the character of Dario Hernandez in Days Of Our Lives for six months.

Hernandez is a petty thief who is investigating a cold case in Salem before he moves on for a promotion.

He also played Fabian Regalo del Cielo, who was one of the love interests of the main character on Jane The Virgin.

His former colleagues and fans have taken to social media to mourn the actor, as co-star Camila Banus wrote on Instagram, “Pepe, what can I say but I love you and rest in peace, my friend. Love you mucho mucho mucho. I wish I had told you more.”

One fan added, “So sad to hear about the death of Francisco San Martin, a star from Days of Our Lives and Jane the Virgin. He was only 39! His contributions to television will never be forgotten.”

Having moved to Montana as a child, Martin worked as a model before he began to secure work as an actor.
