Jennifer Lopez treats journalist with disdain after being mocked over Ben Affleck marriage

Jennifer Lopez was blasted by a renowned US journalist during a pro-Trump rally a day before the Republican took office.

Megyn Kelly, a former FOX News journalist, taunted Lopez while referring to her marriage to Ben Affleck that ended up in divorce in front of a crowd as she took stage.

Speaking at the Washington D.C. Capitol One Arena to celebrate Trump's victory, she said “The good news just keeps on coming. I woke up this morning, I was two inches taller, a pound thinner and I had skin like Jennifer Lopez.”  

“Speaking of J. Lo, how happy are you [that] her candidate lost? It’s so delightful,” she said

“These Hollywood celebrities who get up there and try and tell us how to vote, really. I mean like those celebrities who know nothing about anything,” the Megyn Kelly Show host continued..

“All J. Lo knows about what to do is ruin marriages. She’s an expert in that. Why did she have to try and ruin the country too? So goodbye J. Lo, it didn’t work out for you,” she added in an apparent reference to the pop star’s latest divorce from Ben Affleck.

After Kelly's speech, Lopez used her Instagram stories to share a couple of clips from "Unstoppable", choosing not to react to the insults thrown at her during the rally.

Last October, Lopez, 55, spoke at Kamala Harris’ Las Vegas rally, where she endorsed the Democratic nominee.

Megyn Kelly is also known as a staunch critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and recently she launched an expletive-laden tirade against the US-based royal couple for taking parts in the relief efforts after the devastating Los Angeles fires,
