Cameron Diaz opened up about the change in her perspectives after motherhood.

In a recent chat with E! News during the premiere of her new movie Back in Action, the 52-year-old actress talked about the shift in her priorities since becoming a mom.

"You're a different person after you have children, after marriage, after building a life," Diaz told the outlet.

She went on to say, "So me, I never made a movie before with family. So all of the boxes change that need to be checked off, having taken 10 years and live a life that I wasn't when I was an actor."

"There's a lot more happening in my world that allows me [to have] a different perspective on life," the mother of two noted.

It is pertinent to mention that Diaz is a mom to two children 5-year-old daughter Raddix and a son Cardinal whom she welcomed in 2024 with her husband Benji Madden.

Previously in an interview, The Mask actress revealed that she had no plans to make a comeback to acting until her costar Jamie Foxx made a call.

"How do you say 'No' to Jamie Foxx?" Dian began to say. "If there's anyone I'm going to go back and spend months on end on set having a ball and laughing with, it would be Jamie."

Diaz noted that she was just living a normal life like a mom.

"That was what I was putting most of my focus on," Diaz explained. "If I was doing anything other than just sort of being a mom and living my day-to-day."
