Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, showed her unwavering commitment to Royal duties and responsibilities despite not getting a new Royal title.

The Duchess paid a heartfelt visit to Dogs for Autism in Alton, Hampshire, after celebrating her milestone 60th birthday.

Prince Edward’s wife was seen cuddling trained dogs as she learnt about the positive impact of assistance dogs in people’s lives.

The Buckingham Palace also shared glimpses from Sophie’s visit on the official Instagram account of the Royal family.

“The Duchess of Edinburgh has visited Dogs for Autism, where she heard about the positive impact of these assistance dogs,” they penned.

“The charity’s assistance dogs support people with autism by providing comfort, reducing anxiety, and improving their quality of life.

At the charity’s Training Centre, trainee assistance dogs Buddy, Jack, and Finn demonstrated their training, and Her Royal Highness met the newest member of the team - 9 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louis!”

This comes after former royal butler Grand Harrold shattered Sophie’s hopes of getting a new Royal title despite ongoing speculations.

In a conversation with Royal Insider, Harrold, who served King Charles from 2004 to 2011, revealed that rumours of Sophie getting a new title are not true.

“She is a senior member of the royal family and a very important and crucial one,” he said. “But regarding the speculation she will get a new title, I don’t think she will as now the Duchess of Edinburgh following the passing of Queen Elizabeth and that’s a big title.

“And as for any more responsibilities, I don’t think there will be as she and Edward already do a lot and have taken on more over the years.”
