A$AP Rocky recently made an unpredictable shocking move in an assault case, filed against the rapper.

For the unversed, the Grammy-nominated rapper faces two felony charges related to a 2021 incident where he is accused of allegedly shooting at a former friend and music collaborator during a confrontation.

Now, according to ABC News, the longtime partner of Rihanna refused to accept a final prosecution plea offer of 180 days in prison.

The agreement initially offered to the Praise the Lord hitmaker was to plead guilty to one of his two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm.

However, during the trial in the Los Angeles courtroom, the father-of-two told a judge on Tuesday, January 21, that he respectfully declined.

The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, will now face the possibility of a guilty verdict as jury selection begins at his trial in Los Angeles.

A$AP Rocky, who has pleaded not guilty, could get a maximum sentence of 24 years in prison if convicted in the case.
