Cameron Diaz rethinking acting comeback after 'misogynistic' comments

Cameron Diaz’s return to acting could be short lived as the actress is reportedly fuming over rumors that she’s had work done to look youthful.

"Cameron Diaz facelift", "Cameron Diaz plastic surgery" and "Cameron Diaz age" have become trending searches on Google, and the Charlie’s Angels star isn’t comfortable with the speculation.

A source close to the actress told Radar Online: "Cam is wondering if the exposure is worth it. It is like nothing has changed during her time away. It's the same misogynistic and sexist nonsense about her appearance. She's raging and feels like ducking out for another decade."

Diaz made her return to acting in Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx. In the film, the duo play married ex spies who have to return to spying after their cover is blown.

The Holiday star has always denied getting surgery. But she confessed to getting botox done and hating the results.

"I’ve tried Botox before, where it was like a little tiny touch of something. It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to be like that’… I’d rather see my face aging than a face that doesn’t belong to me at all."

She said: "I am absolutely a victim to all of the societal objectifications, you know, that women, and exploitations that women, are subjected to. I have bought into all of them myself, you know, at certain times. It’s not hard not to. It’s hard not to look at yourself and judge yourself against other markers of beauty.”

Cameron Diaz has made her acting comeback after a decade-long break from the profession.
