Selena Gomez teases her return to the studio

Selena Gomez has been teasing new music for nearly a year after her last single, Love On, in Feb 2024.

Now, the Grammy-nominated singer has returned to the studio but it did not appear to be a full-fledged one.

Instead, her clip on Instagram Stories seemed to show a home recording studio and to keep details under wrap, Selena smartly put a red heart emoji over the screen.

Her fiance, Benny Blanco, previously hinted at a possible collaboration with the 32-year-old after a fan wrote, "Benny, please make some new songs for our queen."

In a reply, the music producer made a three-second clip on TikTok, greeted his partner sitting on a couch and captioned, "replying to @Esme Hermes in case TikTok doesn't exist next week."

The couple got engaged last December and had multiple collaborations, including tracks such as Kill Em with Kindness and Same Old Love.

In other news, Selena revealed at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit event that she "feels most beautiful when I wake up."

"Because I get to wake up to my sister [Gracie] or I get to wake up to my grandparents. Any of that just makes me feel pretty," she concluded.
