Princess Anne just addressed the horrors her injuries brought about.

After the accident which left her in the hospital for days on end, the 74-year-old also recalled the rather horrific lesson she has learned.

Being left concussed and bruised after the incident that involved a horse supposedly kicking her, the sister to King Charles admitted that she had a lucky escape from the injury.

According to Mirror, the Princess Royal admitted she has no memory of the accident but has learned that "every day is a bonus."

When asked of her future and retirement plans, Anne responded, "It really isn't written in, no. It isn't really an option, no, I don't think so. You're jolly lucky… if you can continue to be more or less compos mentis and last summer I was very close to not being Take each day as it comes, they say."

After she addressed the accident that occurred in her Gloucestershire estate, King Charles’ sister was asked if she remembered anything from that day.

"No, nothing," she replied.

Princess Anne was also inquired over the last thing she could recall, over which she revealed, "No, don't even remember that. I know where I thought I was going and that was to go to the chickens, no, nothing to do with horses."

She was then asked any lasting ill effects that the incident had to which she jokingly responded, "Apparently not, at least I don't think so. As far as I know, nobody else thinks so – they haven't been honest enough to tell me yet. So far so good. You are sharply reminded that every day is a bonus really."
