Vin Diesel has revealed that the next Fast & Furious movie will return to Los Angeles for filming.

Taking to Instagram on January 23, 2025, Vin shared an exciting news after a request from his co-star, Jordana Brewster.

Jordana, who plays Mia Toretto in the franchise, asked Vin to bring production of Fast X: Part 2 back to LA to support the city as it recovers from recent wildfires.

"Last week, during the fires that displaced LA… my sister Jordana reached out to me and said… Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA," he wrote in the caption.

The actor and producer went on to add, "Los Angeles needs it now more than ever…"

"Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home. All love…," he wrote.

It is worth mentioning that Fast X: Part 2 is the sequel to 2023’s Fast X and is expected to be the final film in the Fast & Furious series.
