Marilyn Manson is free of the allegations that were made against him.

The 56-year-old iconic musician, made his comeback in August 2024, after almost a four-year-long hiatus due to a string of s**ual abuse and domestic violence cases from a dozen of women including his former partner, actress, Evan Rachel Wood.

Consistently denying all the allegations, Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, would now, no longer be facing criminal charges with respect to the cases on the grounds of lack of evidence as well as legal technicality.

According to reports by Deadline, Nathan Hochman, the Los Angeles District Attorney, said, "We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt."

All these charges against the Tainted Love singer were dropped after over four years were spent in investigating all the claims made about him and two months after Manson was ordered to pay Wood, legal fees, which was around 260,000 dollars.

After the ruling of charges against Manson to be dropped, the District Attorney’s office issued a statement, saying, "We recognise and applaud the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience with the investigation.”

"While we are unable to bring charges in this matter, we recognise that the strong advocacy of the women involved has helped bring greater awareness to the challenges faced by survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault,” they added.

In response to the decision, Marilyn Manson’s attorney, Howard King, told Daily Mail that, "We are very pleased that, after a thorough and incredibly lengthy review of all of the actual evidence, the District Attorney has concluded what we knew and expressed from the start - Brian Warner is innocent."
