Tom Sandoval responds to viral 'sweaty armpits' moment on 'The Traitors'

Tom Sandoval addressed the viral video of his sweaty armpits on The Traitors via Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 23.

The clip revealed the 42-year-old reality star sporting visible pit stains, prompting both memes and castmate criticism.

In regards to this, Sandoval admitted, "Man, that video, I looked rough," while explaining that he was under the weather after 24 hours of travel, including an eight-hour layover.

Moreover, he revealed his immune system took a hit, causing a stye, canker sores, and a sore throat.

According to US Weekly, the airline lost his luggage which left him dependent on the wardrobe department.

Additionally, Sandoval said, “They did a great job,” but noted one outfit, a thick wool sweater, left him "sweating his a** off."

Furthermore, he laughed it off by saying, "At least I can laugh at it now, as you guys all have," as per the outlet's claims. 

It is worth mentioning that Sandoval’s The Traitors debut hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Meanwhile, Host Alan Cumming teased him during the premiere, while castmates like Chrishell Stause criticized his gameplay, as per the publication's reports. 

In this regard, Stause called him “loud and wrong,” adding, “He’s terrible. There was no reason for him to call me a Traitor.”
