Charli XCX just made a major move to pursue a career in acting.

The popular artist, who rose to prominence in 20214 after collaborating with Iggy Azalea on the hit, Fancy, would not only be acting but also producing the movie which would be based off of her own original ideas.

Charli, who is currently the talk of the town because of her wildly successful album, brat, set up her new production company, Studio365, and its first project would be titled, The Moment.

Even though further details have been kept under wraps, Variety has reported that The Moment will also be the directorial debut of Scottish photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri.

Aidan has previously worked with Charli on her popular music videos for songs 360 and the Billi Eilish collaboration, Guess.

Additionally, he has also written the film’s script alongside Bertie Brandes and Charli's longtime collaborator, A. G. Cook will be composing the score of The Moment, while the studio A24 will handle the release.

Alongside The Moment, the Boys crooner’s upcoming feature is also Cathy Yan's The Gallerist, where Charli would share the screen alongside Jenna Ortega, Natalie Portman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sterling K. Brown.

Previously, in an interview with Variety, Charli XCX revealed that she had put in effort before pursuing acting as a career.

"I hate it when musicians dive into a different field, head-first, without really researching or learning much of anything about it," she stated, adding, "So I did a lot of reading to educate myself over the past three or four years before I actually did anything."
