Cristiano Ronaldo’s heartfelt birthday message to streaming star IShowSpeed has gone viral, breaking an Instagram record in the process.

On January 21, 2025, IShowSpeed celebrated his 20th birthday while on tour in South America. 

He was first surprised by his girlfriend, who traveled from the other hemisphere to join him.

However, the shock came when his idol, football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, posted a personal birthday wish on Instagram.

According to Dexerto, the moment overwhelmed Speed, who admitted to crying upon seeing the post as he said, “It was the best birthday gift I could ever receive. I literally cried right there in that airport.”

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s comment quickly went viral, gaining over 2.3 million likes and making it the second most-liked comment on Instagram ever.

Ronaldo also holds the record for the platform’s most-liked comment, which was his response to Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid in 2024.

As per the publication, Ronaldo continues to dominate Instagram, holding the title of the most-followed person on the platform, followed by Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez, and Kylie Jenner.

Furthermore, his immense social media influence remains unmatched, even with rising stars like IShowSpeed and MrBeast making waves online.

It is worth mentioning that Speed’s YouTube channel, launched in 2024, also skyrocketed in popularity, surpassing records set by MrBeast for the fastest-growing channel in 24 hours.
