Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are set to be subpoenaed for all text messages, emails, and communications about Justin Baldoni and the film It Ends With Us.
Per Daily Mail, the Hollywood couple were named as defendants in a lawsuit filed by Baldoni last week, and if the actor wins, Lively and Reynolds will have to pay $400 million.
The 37-year-old actress, her 48-year-old husband, and their PR agent, Leslie Sloane, are being asked to give depositions.
They will have to answer questions from Baldoni's lawyers and provide hours of testimony.
A source close to the case told the outlet revealed, "Unequivocally yes, all parties should be aware that they will be subpoenaed and deposed imminently."
Reportedly, the forthcoming subpoenas indicate that the legal battle between Lively and director Baldoni is getting more intense.
For the unversed, Lively and Baldoni's feud started with rumours of problems on the set of It Ends With Us, a movie about domestic abuse.
The conflict grew during the film's promotional campaign in August 2024.
As the Jane the Virgin actor explained, the tension between the two stars led to him and his family being sent to a cinema basement for the premiere "on Lively's orders."
However, the situation aggravated and turned into a legal fight in December 2024 when the Gossip Girl actress sued Baldoni, claiming "sexual harassment."
Notably, during the same time, The New York Times published a story based on Lively's legal filing in which Baldoni was accused of starting a negative publicity campaign against her and focused on the harassment claim.
In response, Everwood's star sued the outlet for defamation.
Last week, he also filed a lawsuit against the couple, accusing The Shallows actress of using their celebrity power to "hijack his film" and try to ruin his career.
Before concluding, it is significant to mention that Daily Mail got raw footage of the slow dance scene earlier this week.
Balke Lively claimed that during the scene, Justin Baldoni sexually harassed her by "nuzzling her neck" and saying, "It smells so good."
