Blackpink's Rose receives mixed reactions to recent live vocals

Rose from the K-pop group Blackpink recently attended the 2025 Gala des Pièces Jaunes event where she performed tracks from her new album, Rosie.

A clip of her singing one of the tracks, Stay a Little Longer, was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, which attracted some attention from her fans.

Some users were of the opinion that the singer sounded even better than the studio versions, as one fan wrote, “perfect LIVE vocals, godly performance, insane stage presence.. they dont make them like her anymore. a REAL artist.”

Another added, as quoted by Koreaboo, “Girls ability to serve them live vocals better live than studio versions must be studied, the most vocally challenging song mind you.”

However, others did not hold the same opinion, as certain people criticized the singer for not living up to her reputation as the main vocalist on Blackpink.

“The main vocalist of bp is not vocalisting. mind u she just standing there like a robot but her voice is not stable and shaky,” observed one user.

Another added, “i love rose but it's kinda funny cuz had it been someone from hybe this will have 50k quotes and a narrative of "not being able to sing" sticks with them until they die.”

When posted to other platforms, the clip ended up attracting the same reactions with some applauding the singer while others criticized her vocals.
