Hollywood 'chooses' Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie at Oscars

The Oscars snubbed Angelina Jolie by not nominating her for Maria in the lead actress category. Sources say this is because Hollywood is still in "team Brad Pitt."

The insider remarks came after the ex-power couple's bitter divorce dispute became the longest and most contentious in the history of the industry.

Telling Page Six, they spilled that the foreign press raved about the Lara Croft actress, but Hollywood still coveted the Fury actor.

"This just shows that Hollywood is Team Brad. The Globes showed that the foreign press loves her, but that's not Hollywood. Nobody was going to go against Brad and give Angelina a vote … people just love Brad," the tipster tattled.

Another source revealed the mother-of-six was devastated after hearing the news because she has given much of herself to the role of opera singer Maria Callas.

"Angelina will be devastated … look at all the press she did for the film — she wanted to get nominated," the snitch revealed.

"She did Jimmy Fallon, her first late-night show in over a decade. She even went to the Gotham Awards. She did all these magazine covers," the mole squealed.

In Maria, Angelina returned to the big screen after a long time, which also received rave reviews and a nod at the Golden Globes.
